The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (HBA) is currently seeking donations for its annual Holiday Party and Silent Auction, hosted by the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council (SMC). Benefiting HomeAid Atlanta, the official charity of the Greater Atlanta HBA, this year’s Back to the Future theme is adding a new feature to the event: online bidding!

This year’s Holiday Party and Silent Auction will be held on Wednesday, December 2, 2020, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Atlanta Athletic Club in Johns Creek. Festivities will include hors d’oeuvres, desserts, drinks, a flashback photo booth, retro music and special performers. Proceeds will benefit HomeAid Atlanta, a nonprofit organization that has been working since 2001 to build new lives for Atlanta’s homeless population.

Interested parties can help HomeAid Atlanta by sponsoring or donating items to the silent auction event. Due November 25, 2020, ideas for donations include vacation trips, rentals, airfare, electronics, art, gift cards, sporting event tickets, jewelry, golf outings, event tickets, sports memorabilia and unique gift baskets, to name a few.

In addition to contributing to a good cause, donors will receive recognition at the silent auction and in the HomeAid Atlanta newsletter and a tax-deductible donation receipt. The Greater Atlanta HBA will also accept cash donations for HomeAid Atlanta. Checks should be made payable to the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association.
