Congratulations to Patricia (Patti) Dunn! Patti recently joined Ashton Woods Homes Atlanta Division as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. She has a depth of experience leading home builder sales including directly overall sales strategy and daily execution for multiple consumer segments and product types including single family detached and attached homes.
Patti’s move to Ashton Woods Homes follows Todd Jones move to the home builder. Todd joined as Atlanta Division President in September 2018. Patti and Todd worked together at Lennar for five years as the builder entered the Atlanta market as a startup. Todd is busy building a dream team at Ashton Woods, and has recruited several team members from other leading builders, including Lennar.
According to MarketNsight, Lennar closed 1,161 homes and Ashton Woods closed 600 homes for the trailing 12 months ending October 2018.
Patti was at Lennar for almost seven years starting as their Internet New Home Consultant and advancing to Atlanta Area Sales Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing in her last role at the company. She worked with Lennar through several acquisitions including CalAtlantic Group and HomeSouth Communities. Patti joined the Lennar team in 2012 having previously worked for other prominent Atlanta-area companies that include SONARconnects, Kolter Homes, Power Realty and John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods.
An accomplished real estate performer with decades of proven experience in strategic direction, sales execution, marketing, social media and branding, Patti is skilled at developing and executing business strategy, understanding of the market challenges and opportunities and the development of strong teams. Her vast experience in the real estate industry and dedication to customer service makes her a mover and shaker in the industry, as well as a sought-after team member.
Among her various duties, she will:
- Develop and manage the sales direction for the division based on the key business metrics of the company including sales pace, pricing and profit margin.
- Manage the development and training of the sales team, sales and operations managers, and office personnel.
- Ongoing training includes Critical Path, Financing, Competition Knowledge, Lead and Backlog Management and Customer Service.
- Create the systems and processes to drive sales success. Pricing Strategies developed to ensure the achievement of overall business goals. Monthly benchmarks for accurate calibration of individual sales efforts and monthly sales goals.
When Patti isn’t working, she volunteers for Canine Pet Rescue, an organization that rehabilitates German Shepherd Dogs with the goal of placing them in stable homes.
