News Flash! We just read in Builder Online that Todd Jones has been named the new Atlanta Division President of Ashton Woods.  He will start this new position leading the largest division of the Roswell, Georgia-based home builder on October 1.

Todd has very deep experience in the home building industry. He is a graduate of Georgia Tech where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction. His 27-year building industry resume reads like the ‘Who’s Who’ of home building. He has worked for a number of large national home builders including Ryland Homes, Centex and Lennar. Most notably Jones was Lennar Atlanta’s first division president, helping them to enter the market in 2010 and serving in that capacity for more than 7 years.

When Jones joined Lennar, Sam Sparks, President of Lennar’s Southeast Region, was quoted as saying, “We strongly feel that Todd is the right person to introduce our home product and brand philosophy into this market and we are excited to have him join our team. Todd is an exceptional leader and we are honored to benefit from his expertise, keen insights and vast knowledge of the home building industry in the Atlanta area.”

As President of Ashton Woods Atlanta,  Jones will be responsible for the division’s strategic initiatives, land acquisition and home building operations.
