Need to relieve some stress, start your day off right and enjoy a morning of zen with fellow home building industry professional women? Professional Women in Building (PWB) Atlanta Chapter members are invited to PWB’s Yoga in the Park: Planking the Difference, a unique event on Saturday, May 5.
Not only does Planking the Difference give women in building-industry jobs a chance to unwind with their peers, but it is also a day dedicated to helping college students and PWB members looking to further their education in the fields of building and construction. Proceeds go toward PWB’s annual scholarship, which is dedicated to helping students achieve their dreams.
Planking the Difference will take place on Saturday, May 5 at Piedmont Park’s Mayor’s Grove in two sessions. One session will last from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and the other session will last from 11:00 a.m. to noon. The event is $20 to attend, and prizes will be given to the individual to raise the most money for the scholarship and to the individual who can hold a plank for the longest. The $20 includes a water bottle, towel, light refreshments and yoga swag goodies.
No payments can be accepted the day of the event, so be sure to pre-register here.
To raise money for the scholarship, download the yoga sponsorship form here. Minimum donations of $5 are required. Ask your friends, family and colleagues to help you raise scholarship funds.
