Woodstock is being invaded! By scarecrows, that is. As you drive down Main Street this month, you’ll be welcomed by tons of scarecrows lining the way. Even FrontDoor Communities has joined the fun! You can find the builder’s Inwood Hippie Scarecrow (#90) right near the tracks directly across from Reel on Main Street.

The builder’s scarecrow’s theme plays on the city’s name of Woodstock and takes us back to the infamous music festival. The scarecrow is complete with a tie-dye bandana, printed shirt, jean vest with bright flowers, peace sign necklace, long hair and even a guitar. Stop by, and take a photo with the Hippie for a chance to win $50 to your favorite Woodstock hangout. Just post your photo on Instagram or Facebook with the tag #InwoodFDC. The builder’s faves will be shared, and the most creative will win. Right on!

Priced from the mid $300,000s to $400,000s, Inwood is opening soon and offers a collection of historically influenced single-family homes and townhomes. Inwood is walking distance of Downtown Woodstock and has connectivity to the Green Prints Alliance trail system for biking, hiking and walking. Area dining, shopping and entertainment are just minutes away.

By purchasing a spot and decorating a scarecrow on behalf of Inwood, FrontDoor Communities helped the Woodstock Convention and Visitors Bureau raise money for GROW. This organization, which stands for Green Reaps Opportunity for Woodstock, is the design committee for Main Street Woodstock. They create and implement design initiatives for Downtown Woodstock, like the holiday decor. The money raised during The Scarecrow Invasion will go toward further beautifying the community.
