Ray’s journey began with a Building Science degree from Auburn University, followed by a successful career as a second-generation home builder. In 2014, coming out of the housing downturn, Ray partnered with his father, Mike Ray, in hard-money lending. Over the past decade, working together, David and Mike Ray have handled over 600 loans.
Now, as a loan officer for SRP Lending, David makes significant contributions by underwriting proposed loans and inspecting properties. His deep roots in the industry also allow him to continue his passion for residential development and home building in metro Atlanta.
David and his wife Ashley make their home in the Buckhead Forrest neighborhood, where they are raising their three children, Annie, Sarah, and Camden. Their family life is a reflection of David’s commitment to community and quality, values that resonate throughout his professional life.
