Woodberry model at Inwood by FrontDoor Communities

Atlanta Real Estate Forum congratulates FrontDoor Communities for winning a Gold OBIE in the Best Building Design – Attached Model (All Builders) $400,000 to $499,999 category for its Woodberry model home at Inwood. Presented by the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council, the OBIE Awards are the premier awards given in the Atlanta new home construction industry.

The Woodberry townhome design was intended to blend traditional elements with an eclectic/organic appeal. Since Inwood is within proximity to downtown Woodstock, special attention was paid to an urban/suburban blend of architecture and streetscape to enhance connectivity and social interaction with dual porches that offer beautiful “windows” to the street.

The interior lives more like a single-family home versus a townhome, offering flexibility throughout the floorplan. Entry from the garage still provides a drop zone, full bath and an expansive entertainment/flex space, which is also light and bright because of the strategically place windows and the double-door front entry. The second level is very open and gives the ability for the great room to be placed at either end of the plan, depending on how the buyer prefers to live in the space. An added feature are the beautiful built ins for plenty of storage and an office that is ideal for meal planning, homework or working from home.

The weathered brick on all levels provides an “historic” appeal which ties directly to the attraction of the historic downtown Woodstock village. Additional features include sleek lighting design, unique use of organic materials – such as the wood-hewn fireplace mantle and the privacy of the raised wood dividing walls off the back deck. All closets are spacious and there is plenty of unique wall spaces to hang art and accent pieces throughout.
