Greg Bray with Blue Tangerine joins the Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio podcast

President Greg Bray with Blue Tangerine joins the Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio podcast to provide tips on how home builders can effectively make marketing plans for the year ahead. Bray chats with host Carol Morgan on the importance of on-page SEO and which technology advancements to focus on.

Bray holds a computer science degree from Brigham Young University and has over 20 years of website development and programming experience. In 2006, Bray became the owner and president of Blue Tangerine, a full-service digital marketing and website development agency that helps businesses build better websites to increase traffic and grow sales.

Bray said, “At Blue Tangerine, we believe that every homebuilder deserves a sales-generating website…if you don’t have one, it’s not because websites don’t work – it’s because your website doesn’t work.”

The first bit of advice that Bray provides is to keep moving forward. While rising interest rates, inventory shortages and sellers hesitating to enter the market caused many challenges for home builders, Bray explains that it is okay to move on and use this time to improve marketing strategies, including SEO, social media presence and digital outreach.

Bray said, “Those who haven’t paused and have continued to move forward are going to be that much more ahead in the new year.”

The website expert explains that investing in advertising is only effective if the company website is optimized properly. A few more marketing tips that Blue Tangerine encourages homebuilders to utilize in the new year are:

  • Make sure the company website is robust and can support lead generation.
  • Ensure website SEO is fully optimized.
  • Invest in paid and organic advertising on all social media platforms and Google.
  • Create long-term quality content, including website copy and blogging, imagery and branding, photography and videography, computer-generated new construction renderings and more!

Bray said, “It makes no business sense to drive traffic by spending money on advertising to a website that will not convert that traffic.”
