On Oct. 22, 2014, Soleil Laurel Canyon will be hosting an AARP Smart Driver Course from 8:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Soleil Clubhouse Ballroom. Maintaining smart driving habits on the road will enable you to be a safe driver and reduce your risk of road accidents. Participants are encouraged to come out and tune their safe driving skills and save a little bit of money while doing it!

The course is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members, and participants will be able to save 10 percent on their automobile insurance by receiving a certificate of completion to send to their insurance agent. The discount is only available to those who have not had a ticket or accident within the past three years. Participants should also bring a bag lunch to eat during the break.
