The Atlanta branch of Academy Mortgage is excited to announce that they will be partnering with Habitat for Humanity to build a new home in the metro Atlanta area beginning October 9, 2013.
Academy Mortgage, recently named the number two lender for new homes in Atlanta, believes their mission does not stop at securing home loans. While they strive to help every individual or family achieve the dream of obtaining home ownership, they also feel they have a larger responsibility to extend their reach into the communities they work in.
Academy’s overall goal is to help those around them build a better foundation for their future. They are constantly focusing on ways to work with the communities they serve to help improve them for everyone. As they celebrate their 25th year in business, Academy Mortgage has committed to giving 25,000 hours of service to the communities that they work in across the country.
The Academy Foundation for the Future, which was established in 2011, was started to help direct the community service initiatives of the company, both in the United States and abroad. In addition to the 25,000 hours of service, Academy Mortgage has also committed to contribute more than $1 million to organizations whose missions align with that of the Foundation.
