(P)interact with Traton Homes, held in the spring of 2016, was a huge success and helped celebrate the grand openings of Traton’s new decorated model homes at The Reserve at Old Atlanta and Vinings Parc East. Participants created Pinterest boards showing how they would decorate the home of their dreams with the hashtag #TratonHomesPinteractContest. The top boards were posted on Facebook, and two rounds of voting occurred. The contest featured prizes such as $50 and $250 gift cards for the winners. The campaign helped Traton Homes gain new Pinterest followers and Facebook reach increased by 100 times. Additionally, traffic to the blog increased during the campaign. 21 percent of this traffic was from Pinterest, and 81 percent of the sessions were first time blog visitors.

Finally, the award-winning decorated townhome model at sold-out Vinings Parc East featured the Vinings plan with a sophisticated, elegant design and modern touches. With a twist on new southern traditional style, the base color palette of the model home consisted of warm neutrals including ivory, tan and espresso with touches of gold and chrome. Interior highlights included dark tongue and groove paneling in the foyer; gourmet kitchen with clean white silk cabinetry, oversized espresso kitchen island and quartz countertops; family room with a floor to ceiling travertine surround around the fireplace with a cedar stained mantle; and magnificent master suite with inset bead board wall, custom trey ceiling and brilliant lighting.
