During the month of October, downtown Woodstock will be filled with stuffed visitors. No, they didn’t dine at the tasty neighboring restaurants; these visitors are stuffed with straw. During October, look for the Scarecrow Parade, which will be displayed along Woodstock City Park. The friendly mascots of autumn will be on display throughout the month and have been decorated by community businesses and members.

Woodstock Downtown is proud to be a parade participant. Take a tour of the scarecrows, and vote on your favorite ones. Votes are $2 each, or $3 for 5. All money raised benefits The Anna Crawford Children’s Center, which provides programs and education on help prevent child abuse and neglect in Cherokee County as well as provides services to children and families who are abuse or neglect victims.
