Veridian by Loren Homes Wins Community of the Year with 20 Units or Less

At this year’s 41st Annual OBIE Awards, Veridian by Loren Homes was awarded a Gold OBIE Award for Community of the Year with 20 Units or Less. A premier award in the Atlanta new home construction industry, the OBIE Awards are presented by the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council (SMC) on behalf of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (HBA). Atlanta Real Estate Forum congratulates Loren Homes on the fantastic win!

Working closely with the city of Woodstock, Loren Homes transformed two previous homesites in Downtown Woodstock into Veridian, an enclave of eight active adult homes. Veridian, a spin on the Latin word for green, was the bestselling community in 2020 for Loren Homes, selling 30% of its inventory before completion.

Instead of separating homes with a private entrance or drive, homes at Veridian face public streets, incorporating the community into the existing neighborhood and creating a cohesive and blended atmosphere. The development is also notable for its extremely low density and expansive common areas with unparalleled access to the thriving center of Downtown Woodstock.

Fitting seamlessly into the historic and natural environment, the community is adjacent to the Greenprints Trail System north of Main Street in Downtown Woodstock. A natural setting and expansive landscaped common areas offer homeowners beautiful, local green spaces with direct access to downtown Woodstock amenities, creating the perfect community for the active adult.
