On January 19, the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (GAHBA) hosted its Annual Installation and Award Ceremony at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. During the ceremony, Valerie Braverman was presented with the 2022 Presidential Award!
Only presented at the discretion of the HBA President, the Presidential Award is a special acknowledgment of an individual’s service and dedication to the home building industry, as well as the HBA.
Being involved in the association for several years, Braverman’s consistent and steady service is evident to everyone who is actively part of the organization. Under her guidance, the Education Department and Programs had a record year for revenue generation and participation in 2022. Braverman provided a Superintendent’s class for 32 young builders growing their careers and has taken the task of leading the HBA’s workforce development initiative with the Boys and Girls Club. Through the ups, downs and multitude of changes within the past year, Braverman continues to show compassion towards the home building industry and HBA members. Always lending a helping hand to her fellow team members, Braverman is part of pivotal HBA responsibilities, including the Builder/Developer/Lender Council, the Gwinnett Chapter, EarthCraft and the Bookstore.
