Thomas Smith, community relations representative with TurningPoint Breast Cancer Rehabilitation, joins hosts Todd Schnick and Bryan Nonni on the Around Atlanta edition of the Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio show.

Thomas has been in public relations for more than 20 years now and has worked with different agencies, organizations and everywhere you can imagine. His love of writing is what has brought him into public relations as well as meeting new people. Thomas’s connection with breast cancer started back in the 70’s when his mother had a five year battle with breast cancer and losing her at the young age of seven is what made him become so active in the community through volunteering.

TurningPoint Breast Cancer Rehabilitation is a non-profit healthcare organization that was established in 2003. TurningPoint has since cared for more than 2,500 women with breast cancer, specializing in physical therapy, exercise, lymphedema management, massage therapy, counseling and nutritional counseling. Turning Point offers a wide variety of educational programs on topics related to breast cancer survivorship for patients and caregivers.

TurningPoint has one of their biggest events of the year coming up, The Pink Affair, on Saturday, March 12 at 7 p.m. at the Westin Atlanta Perimeter North. The Pink Affair will directly benefit TurningPoint by hosting more than 350 people for a night of awareness, entertainment, excellent food, drinks and an outstanding auction that raises funds for TurningPoint Breast Cancer Rehabilitation. Ticket prices begin at $100 and include dinner, complimentary wine and beer, great entertainment and an amazing atmosphere.
