Atlanta Real Estate Forum congratulates T.R. Adams with Rocklyn Homes for being named the 2020 Sales Manager of the Year at the 40th Annual OBIE Awards. Presented by the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council, the OBIE Awards are the premier awards given to those working in the Atlanta new home construction industry.

When T.R. joined Rocklyn Homes in 2018 after the sudden departure of a long-time sales manager, it was clear the sales team needed strong leadership. He brought in advanced systems to support analytics, CRM, marketing and profit optimization while focusing on agent accountability and training.

“T.R.’s efforts to sharpen our technological edge have directly resulted in sales, even in the difficult months of 2020,” Assistant Sales Manager Kim Gassner said.

According to Gassner, T.R. is vigilant about ensuring agents have everything they need to succeed.

“Whether it’s mentoring, personally replacing a broken router or covering for someone who’s out, he’s helping them get the job done,” Gassner said.

His sales team’s numbers were impressive even in unusual circumstances with COVID-19 in the first part of 2020. As a Sales Manager, T.R. lead his Rocklyn Homes team to 568 home/lot sales and over $136,320,000 in sales.

“You can ride on your sales team’s coattails, or you can get in there and make a difference in their lives and their success,” T.R. said.

With more than 25 years in real estate, he has clearly chosen the second option.
