Women dominate the restaurant workforce with 65% of all entry-level being female, but the statistic falls to only 38% of executives and 22% of head chefs. While women represent 50% of the restaurant industry’s workforce, support and a path forward are needed to propel women into more of the top jobs in the industry. It is the intent of Women in Restaurants to create a venue for conversations and peer to peer mentorship for women in the Atlanta restaurant industry.
