Atlanta Parade of Homes 2024

The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association invites you to attend its annual Atlanta Parade of Homes, a free, self-guided tour featuring 107 model and inventory homes throughout metro Atlanta. Attendees have three full weekends, April 20 – 21, April 27 – 28 and May 4 – 5, to tour new homes from local home builders. Parade hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday.

The free, self-guided Parade of Homes features new homes throughout many popular metro Atlanta locations. Many of the participating entrees are decorated model homes that feature the latest design trends and upgrade options in a variety of sizes, layouts and architectural styles. The Parade will feature affordable entry-level homes and townhomes, moderately priced large homes in popular neighborhoods, and even elegant custom homes in exclusive communities.

“The Atlanta Parade of Homes continues to be a popular event among active homebuyers, as well as those simply considering buying a home,” Corey Deal, executive officer of the Greater Atlanta HBA, said. “It is an exciting time to buy a new home in metro Atlanta and we are proud to play a part in facilitating that for our community.”

Homes can be found as far north as Varnell, Georgia in Whitfield County and as far south as Sharpsburg. They also stretch as far west as Carrollton and as far east as Jackson County, covering an impressive 19-county area.

Attendees are encouraged to vote for their favorite model homes and home features, and five “Best of” awards will be given at an awards banquet at Pella in Duluth on May 16. Parade of Homes attendees who vote are automatically entered to win a variety of prizes including Atlanta Braves tickets, bikes and a TV.

What is a scattered site parade of homes?

Atlanta’s “scattered site parade of homes” is an event in which multiple new homes built by different builders are open for public viewing at various locations rather than concentrated in a single development or community. This event showcases the latest in home design, architecture, construction techniques, and interior decorating trends.

The homes featured in this year’s parade are completed homes, and several of them are for sale. The homes are spread out across the metro Atlanta area, requiring attendees to travel between locations to view each home. This format allows visitors to see a wide variety of house styles, neighborhood settings and landscaping designs. It also provides potential buyers with the opportunity to compare and contrast the work of various builders and architects in a real-world setting.
