RHG celebrates 5000 homes built

Richardson Housing Group (RHG) recently celebrated the closing of its 5,000th home in the greater Gwinnett area. Company officials marked the day with a special presentation to the new homebuyer. Peggy Slappy Properties, the long-standing realtor partner for RHG, presented the team with a commemorative engraved crystal vase marking the occasion.

Founded in 1973 by Allen Richardson, RHG has always been a family organization with the management team including his wife, Ann and their two children, Mark and Angie.  Mark currently serves as the company’s President while Ann serves as the Vice President and Corporate Secretary,  and Angie serves as the Corporate Treasurer.

“With 5,000 homes built, Richardson Housing Group has made a significant contribution to the success of the Gwinnett area far beyond building homes.  Our homeowners, employees and spouses teach school, attend churches, coach sports and have children and grandchildren in the schools in the areas we serve.  We live here, and it is important that our company be involved in the community it serves,” said Ann Richardson.

“Building approximately 75 homes a year allows us to provide more attention to each individual home assuring the quality as well as giving us the ability to react quickly to continuing changes within the industry and market. We continue to update and stay on top of new trends,” said Mark Richardson.

As RHG marks this important milestone, the company looks forward to continuing to make a positive impact on Gwinnett and the surrounding area.  “As we begin working towards our 10,000th home, all of us at RHG are thankful for the customers, trade partners, suppliers and business relationships that have brought us to this point.  We are excited about the future and are thrilled to be a part of this great community,” said Angie West.
