Project Playhouse HomeAid AtlantaThursday, December 13 is the final day to purchase your raffle ticket for a chance to win a custom-built playhouse designed by architect Mike Hart and built by Paran Homes and volunteers from the Kennesaw State University Department of Construction Management. Part of the HomeAid Project Playhouse® program, all proceeds from the raffle will benefit HomeAid Atlanta’s mission of building new lives for homeless families and individuals through housing and community outreach. The winner of the “Saltbox of the Earth” playhouse will be chosen on Friday, December 14 at 12 p.m. Due to the 100 percent chance of rain forecasted for metro Atlanta on Friday, the drawing will now be held on live on HomeAid Atlanta’s Facebook page. Be sure to LIKE the Facebook page to be notified when the drawing begins!

Saltbox of the Earth PlayhouseThe beautiful playhouse has been on display at next to Café Intermezzo Avalon in Alpharetta since late November. Valued at nearly $14,000, the child-size playhouse features a quaint front porch, working windows, and a playful Dutchman door. The interior features built-ins and a window seat, as well as Pottery Barn Kids furniture.

HomeAid Atlanta, founded in 2001, builds new lives for homeless families and individuals through housing and community outreach. HomeAid works in partnership with the building industry, as well as community organizations, to assist people experiencing homelessness. To date, HomeAid Atlanta has completed over 100 housing, remodel and care day projects at locations serving victims of domestic violence, teen mothers, veterans and more.
