Atlanta Real Estate Forum congratulates Nicole Carter for being named Sales Manager of the Year at the OBIE Awards. Presented by the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council, the OBIE Awards are the premier awards given in the Atlanta new home construction industry.
Nicole Carter, area sales manager for Century Communities, has been a full-time licensed real estate agent for over 10 years. Although she is very passionate about new homes sales, the most gratifying part of the job to her is giving her sales team the tools, knowledge and mentorship to grow and excel in this industry. Nicole’s years of successful corporate management have taught her to lead by example, fuel others to be self-motivated and, most importantly, be an innovator and creative thinker. Nicole always has a positive attitude and is a diligent team player. Nicole’s leadership qualities consist of being firm but fair and highly respected, and she is a valued asset to the Century Communities organization.
During her tenure in the role of area sales manager, Nicole has supervised up to 45 communities with a sales team of 75 onsite agents. When asked about her position of sales manager, she said, “I have held various positions and titles throughout my real estate career, but nothing gives me more gratification than helping my team aspire to be future team leaders and successful agents.”
In addition to her role as area sales manager, Nicole is the founder and host of the Real Estate Master Minds networking event. This event consists of team building, recruiting and using outside resources to maximize the sales & success of her team. The organization meets once a month and has been growing immensely since 2014. Additionally, Nicole visits local schools on Career Day to discuss real estate & new home sales to our future leaders. Nicole and her sales team host various quarterly events to promote Century Communities’ home sites, offer free CE courses for real estate agents and homebuyer seminars for our buyer prospects.

The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association’s OBIE Awards celebrates its 36th anniversary in 2016. The awards began in 1980 and have grown throughout the years to include more than 100 building, remodeling, marketing and personal achievement categories. The OBIE Awards are named after the obelisk shape of the actual award given.
