If you’re a member of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and enjoy winning prizes, join the NAHB in its new video contest, “What NAHB Membership Means to Me.” From now until Friday, Feb. 13, you can create a video describing what your NAHB membership means to you and submit it for a chance to win gift cards and an appearance in the 2015 NAHB membership campaign.

It’s easy to enter: Make an original video that is 45 to 60 seconds long describing why you love being an NAHB member and why others should join too. Express what your NAHB membership means to you in any way you want, whether it’s singing, dancing, speaking or even reading a poem – as long as it’s original! You can either post your video to YouTube with the title #NAHBWantsYou or email it to membership@nahb.org. Then, complete the submission form at NAHB.org/NAHBWantsYou by Feb.13, and share the video on social media so all your friends can see your creativity!

If you need some inspiration, watch the above video featuring NAHB members as they explain the NAHB contest to the tune of Kesha’s “Timber.” Even “Pitbull” makes an appearance in the form of NAHB’s membership chair, Michael Kurpiel.

Winners will be chosen from each of the following categories: Most Viewed Video, Most “Liked” Video on Facebook, Most Creative Video, Most People in Video, Best Video from an HBA (groups only,) and Best Video from a Council (groups only). One individual and one group winner will be chosen from each video category to receive gift cards, and the top videos will be featured in the 2015 NAHB membership campaign. Winners will be announced via NAHB’s social media accounts by Feb. 20. For additional information, visit NAHB.org/NAHBWantsYou.
