Atlanta Real Estate Forum congratulates Marketing RELEVANCE for winning a Gold OBIE in the Best Website Corporate – Builder/Developer category. Presented by the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council, the OBIE Awards are the premier awards given in the Atlanta new home construction industry.

KM Homes, a builder of luxury new homes in the Atlanta metro area updated its website with several goals in mind. The existing site was outdated by today’s standards and the builder knew they were losing customers because their desktop and mobile sites were totally separate and not responsive. The builder wanted to make the site easier to use for prospective buyers and staff to use, and to unite the mobile and desktop sites into one fully responsive site.

Marketing Relevance started with wireframes and designed a new look and feel to modernize the site, adding backend functionality for the KM Homes team. Now, instead of staff having to update home prices every time they changed, the data pulls automatically from the inventory system, ensuring current information is displayed.

But functionality and ease of use for staff isn’t all Marketing Relevance provided. The new site included high-resolution images of homes and communities. They created new, simplified menus that navigated intuitively and organized the information in ways that would both educate the consumer and increase lead capture rates and time spent on the site.

Marketing Relevance created a landing page that made getting more information about a particular property or community as easy as clicking a button. The home page is beautifully populated with a map of KM Homes’ communities with contact buttons displayed next to each. Customers can find anything they might be looking for quickly and easily.

Maintaining the KM Homes brand was important, and the entire team wanted to keep the site both aesthetically and technically modern. Marketing Relevance rose to that challenge. Designers kept the client’s style guides intact and included graphics which built on those themes. Breadcrumbs, menus, and mobile-responsiveness were incorporated, and future additions were anticipated in the build out, so that the builder can add functionality as they grow and needs change.

Marketing Relevance built a new website for KM Homes that improved time on site, leads and registrations. In fact, average leads increased from less than one to an average of 24 per month. The new website increased time on site, lead production and traffic. The lead and goal conversion rate grew to 7.95%, which is about 10 times the industry average for lead generation.

Marketing Relevance worked hand-in-hand to determine the builder’s website needs and expectations with the goals of improving lead capture, desktop and mobile browser consistency, and aesthetic and technical modernity. Marketing Relevance fulfilled their mission, and surpassed expectations. The site is a gorgeous, intuitive, responsive marketing tool that captures potential customers and keeps them on the site, browsing and learning. Clean menus, ease of use and back end functionality make the site as helpful to the consumer as to KM Homes’ staff.
