The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (GAHBA) recently hosted its Annual Installation and Awards Ceremony at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre. During the ceremony, Mark Whitmire was presented the Council Chair of the Year award!

With seven active councils, the GAHBA provides networking and educational opportunities for a multitude of the diverse special interests of its members. The GAHBA recognizes one Council Chair for tremendous excellence and member service, in honor of the services that the council provides. Due to the high quality of devotion and leadership, each chairperson possesses, deciding on the recipient of this prestigious award is very challenging.

With more than 35 years of experience in the industry, Mark Whitmire is well-known for his ability to fill the GAHBA boardroom with his rich knowledge and witty sense of humor. For the past four years, Whitmire has run the Builder/Developer/Lender Council meetings with his special art for talking about the industry’s highs and lows, rising rates and the economy.

The GAHBA is thrilled to name Mark Whitmire, from MTW Companies LLC, as the 2022 Council Chair of the Year for his outstanding dedication and leadership!
