First time guest Vince Longo, president of Longo Homes Incorporated, joins co-hosts Carol Morgan and Todd Schnick on this week’s All About Real Estate edition of the Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio show.
Longo kicks off the show by explaining how he came to be a successful Atlanta-area homebuilder. Soon after moving to Atlanta, Longo traded in working with computer chips at IBM to working with wood chips in the building industry, thus creating Vincent Longo Custom Builders.
Longo describes the company as being a “boutique-style builder” with experience in building higher-end new custom homes and renovating homes throughout north metro Atlanta, with a focus on “client-based solutions.”
Longo Custom Builders also maintains an interest in “flipping” houses as well as holding some homes as rental properties. This variety of involvement in the housing industry, according to Longo, allows the builder to remain relevant while “keeping a pulse on trends.”
What separates Longo Custom Builders from other builders is SureBuild, an online client portal that allows clients to see their project’s status updates in real time as well as up-to-date information on the budget, current photos and documents, deadlines for remaining selections and upgrades, persons of contact and more. a
Additionally, thanks to the added emphasis on customer service, Houzz has recognized the 11-time OBIE Award winner the last two years as a Houzz Best in Service recipient. Longo Custom Builders is a leader in both detail and innovation, but also quality customer service.
The Atlanta-area home builder is also heavily involved in the community, in particular with HomeAid Atlanta, the designated charity of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association. HomeAid Atlanta is a local nonprofit organization that builds and renovates housing facilities for organizations serving homeless families and individuals throughout metro Atlanta.
