Zac Kittle with Kittle Homes joins the Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio podcast to celebrate the company’s two recent Gold OBIE wins and shine a light on the company’s rich history. Kittle sits down with host Carol Morgan to discuss upcoming developments and share what’s in store for the new year.
Kittle Homes is a fourth-generation builder benefiting from over 74 years of Atlanta homebuilding experience. Kittle’s father played an active role in the company’s founding. As he transitions to retirement, Kittle and his brother take on more prominent roles within the company.
Kittle said, “We’ve been very excited about the projects we have done and the new ones that we have coming up!”
An exciting way to enter the new year, Kittle shared that the company continues to experience incredible growth. In its first year, the new homebuilding company constructed five homes, and in 2022, Kittle Homes built 65 homes. In 2024, the Kittle Homes team will celebrate 75 years in the homebuilding industry!
Kittle was constantly exposed to the homebuilding industry as a child, setting him up for a booming industry entrance following college. During his younger years, Kittle drove race cars and followed his dream of being a racecar driver to Charlotte. Unfortunately, those dreams did not pan out, and seven years ago, Kittle made his homebuilding industry debut by joining his father and brother during the company’s startup.
Kittle said, “We learned the building business from the ground up. We didn’t get thrown into it… We know how to do everything in the building business for the most part.”
This knowledge of the industry benefitted Kittle and his brother, allowing them to provide homebuyers with top-quality homes that will last a lifetime. Kittle attributed this lifetime’s worth of knowledge to the company’s two recent OBIE award wins.
With a large presence in Gwinnett County, Kittle Homes first entered the market with the Enclave at Lilburn, a beautiful 25-home community. The Kittle brothers played a significant role in the construction of that community and set the builder’s quality benchmark. The duo recently celebrated the completion of another 12-townhome community in Madison Trace, which received a Gold OBIE award at the 43rd Annual OBIE Awards ceremony.
The builder is about to commence construction on the third phase at The Preserve at Killian Hill, consisting of 22 cottage homes and a 14,000-square-foot commercial space in the Parkview School District.
Kittle Homes also has an exciting new development coming soon to Downtown Sugar Hill! Skyview on Broad will feature brand-new floor plans with exciting features, including a rooftop patio, kitchens featuring custom cabinetry and waterfall islands, a full bathroom and office on the basement level and more. Future homebuyers will be able to enjoy downtown life just a few steps from their front doors in this 25-home neighborhood! The community will tentatively officially kick off on February 1 with the opening of a decorated model home.
