Summertree is a 140-lot neighborhood located directly across the street from Pine Ridge Elementary School and Stephenson Middle School, walking distance to Stephenson High School. This community was designed around preserving an existing lake and forested green space on the property. “It was a pleasure working with the county staff, local residents, Rockbridge Coalition and elected officials to create these new communities,” Jacobi said. “Kingsley Creek and Summertree represent 300 new homes for an underserved and quickly growing area of town.”

Creatively master-planned by Alliance Engineering and Planning, both communities are three miles from the new Amazon fulfillment facility expected to attract thousands of new jobs to the area. The new $238 million Amazon facility is set to open this fall as the company’s first robotics fulfillment center in Georgia. This facility straddles the Gwinnett-DeKalb County line and, according to reports from county officials, property values in the area have skyrocketed.
