Blue River Communities (BRC) is proud to announce the appointment of Greg Duriez as CEO, President and Partner. With an impressive 34-year tenure in the new home construction industry and substantial growth achievements with large national and regional home builders, Duriez is set to lead Blue River Communities. The new homebuilding company will focus on market-rate single-family detached homes and townhomes from the $300,000s to $600,000s. BRC is estimated to begin development and construction on 500+ lots and homes in 2024.
The company is focused on expansion throughout the Southeast, Florida and Texas, with immediate initiatives in Gwinnett, Barrow and Henry counties within the Atlanta metro region as well as Huntsville, Alabama; Dallas, Texas and Sarasota, Florida. Duriez’s entry coincides with the launch of numerous projects already in the pipeline, buoyed by established relationships with Build-to-Rent (BTR) investors.

Duriez is a Buford, Ga resident. When he’s not strategizing for BRC, Duriez’s personal life is as fulfilling as his professional one. He and his wife Christy enjoy their large family of seven children aged 21 to 30 and one granddaughter. His passions include being an instrument-rated pilot, an avid golfer, travel, family time at the beach or on his hobby farm enjoying outdoor activities like fishing and hunting.
