Lori Rousseau has been a leader in the new home lending industry in Atlanta for many years. With more than 20 years of mortgage lending experience, she has most recently held management positions at Wells Fargo and Met Life. Today, she manages a network of HomeServices lending offices, housed inside 19 Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Georgia Properties offices.

Throughout her entire career, including her time as an HBA member, Lori has been a dedicated association volunteer and leader. For many years, Lori has led a quarterly “Home Buyer’s Academy” sponsored by the Housing Institute and the HBA. This two-hour class for potential home buyers walks them through the process of buying, building and financing a new home. Through this class, she has helped hundreds of potential home buyers feel more comfortable with the purchasing process.

Lori has made many lasting contributions to Atlanta’s homebuilding and real estate industries. The HBA is proud to recognize Lori Rousseau as the 2015 Associate of the Year.

The Associate of the Year award is presented annually to a member of the Greater Atlanta HBA in recognition of their accomplishments in the areas of service to the industry and association, professional excellence and community involvement, furthering the mission and goals of the association.

The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association’s OBIE Awards celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2015. The awards began in 1980 and have grown throughout the years to include more than 100 building, remodeling, marketing and personal achievement categories.
