The Atlanta metro area is famous for its vibrant and creative restaurant scene, but it can be challenging for locals to visit all the best spots. Victoria Hawkins with Explore Gwinnett shares how to take advantage of Gwinnett Restaurant Week with co-hosts Mandy Holm and Todd Schnick.

The role of Explore Gwinnett is to promote tourism and business in Gwinnett County, which means making the community aware of all the great dining options. Now in its 12th year, Gwinnett Restaurant Week gives visitors and residents alike the chance to sample exclusive menus at discounted price points.

Hawkins said they have added six new restaurants this year, as well as an optional higher price point to include some of the more expensive restaurants. For either $25 or $35, depending on the venue, diners can get a three-course meal to sample some of the best dining experiences the county offers.

Among the dining experiences are Uncle Jack’s Meat House, Nobel Fin, and 1910 Public House. Hawkins also points to the variety of Korean restaurants participating, and explains that Gwinnett is known as the “Seoul of the South,” for its amazing Korean cuisine. She suggested diners check out Breakers Korean BBQ and 9292 for some great food. Each restaurant’s menu is listed online, and there is no need to purchase tickets.

To take advantage, simply make a reservation or walk into any participating establishment and ask for the Gwinnett Restaurant Week menu. The dining celebration runs from July 16 through 20. If you still want to explore additional Gwinnett dining options, go on one of four “Seoul of the South” tours or attend Burgers and Brews Week every March.
