Atlanta Real Estate Forum congratulates FrontDoor Communities for winning a Gold OBIE in the Best Marketing Campaign/Promotion-Builder-Budget under $10,000 category for Edgewater. Presented by the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council, the OBIE Awards are the premier awards given in the Atlanta new home construction industry.

FrontDoor Communities had the unique opportunity to utilize the Wells Fargo Stagecoach and horses for their Grand Opening and decided to capitalize on this because it would be an ideal draw to their target demographic of growing families. A Facebook Live video promotion leading up to the event built anticipation to the Grand Opening.

Other key draws were the Yumbii Food Truck, King of Pops for the kids and a Cinco De Mayo “surprise” piñata for all that toured the model home and community.  The social media communication, advertising, video and public relations recap of the event have continued to boost weekly traffic and sales and Edgewater.

The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association’s OBIE Awards celebrates its 37th anniversary in 2017. The awards began in 1980 and have grown throughout the years to include more than 100 building, remodeling, marketing and personal achievement categories.
