What can a home builder that is truly local to the Atlanta community offer buyers that national builders cannot? Connectivity, convenience, character, community expertise, just to name a few! On today’s All About Real Estate episode, Colby Henson, Vice President of Acquisitions and Sales at Fortress Builders talks about how a truly local builder can make a huge difference in your home buying experience. Henson also provided details on popular Fortress communities and new projects for 2019.
With over 50 years of cumulative experience in constructing new homes and communities, Fortress Builders offers a unique opportunity for buyers looking to live in Atlanta’s most prestigious suburb, Cobb County. Whether you are just starting out, building a new family, moving up, or downsizing, Fortress guarantees to have the community just for you. “A convenient location and enticing amenities are no longer enough,” states Henson. “Fortress is truly local and we develop, build and sell our own product. We are literally a company who oversees everything from A to Z, all the way through acquisitions, zoning, development, construction sales and the marketing of the home.”
There are currently five Fortress communities available in Cobb County that offers a little something different for every buyer’s interest. “Buyers want to be connected to where they are,” states Henson. “They want affordability and connectivity and that’s what motivates us to develop nice, walkable communities to desirable areas.” Here’s a look at the current communities:
Within walking distance to the Silver Comet Trail and well located near East-West Connector, Peacock Park is one of the newest Fortress projects with only 37 lots available. “For buyers looking for a smaller footprint, low maintenance and master-on-the-main design, this community is it,” exclaims Henson. “The community is not age restricted and offers buyers the best of both worlds with efficient designs and amazing amenities.” Aside from being located minutes from the entertainment and shopping options in Vinings, Smyrna and SunTrust Park, these new homes are also rich with interior amenities!
Barrett Preserve is a true active adult community that consists of 41 homes and is near closeout! Henson provides the inside detail that four new homes will be available in the upcoming months and if buyers want in, they need to act now! Located off Barrett Parkway, these new home start in the mid-$300’s and offer easy access to retail shopping, grocery stores, restaurants and Marietta Square. Kennesaw Mountain Park is also nearby with trails, historical sites and miles of scenery!
Creekview Park is a charming community of only 53 new homes that feature amazing interior upgrades for an affordable price. “We feel like we really hit the mark right at Creekview Park,” states Henson. “Residents get a beautiful new home near tons of amenities at a steal of a price!” Residents will enjoy the community activities and walking trails, as well as Creekview Park’s convenient location between the City of Acworth and City of Kennesaw offering plenty of shopping, dining and entertainment options that include Swift Cantrell Park, Acworth Beach, Lake Acworth, Cauble Park and a picnic, cabana and playground area.
Stonemill Creek is one of the last communities in west Cobb that will provide homeowners with an estate-sized lot! Currently, the community is in close-out with only seven lots remaining. “This community is a rare find in Cobb County,” states Henson. “It’s very unique in character with great amenities, large lots and three-car garages. The community is not dense and the homes are not right on top of another.” Stonemill Creek boasts of beautiful amenities like community clubhouse, swimming pool, tennis courts, playground and private seven-acre park with walking trails and picturesque landscape.
