Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and just in time for the holiday, the ultimate love story will come to life thanks to the Atlanta Ballet. Jean-Christophe Maillot’s Roméo et Juliette will be performed Feb. 6 through 14, 2015 at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre.

This version of Roméo et Juliette offers a fresh take on the classic Shakespearian love story as it envelops you in the tantalizing power of young, forbidden love. A limited number of performances are available, and tickets can be purchased now by visiting the Atlanta Ballet website. Tickets range from $20 to $120 per person.

For those without a significant other this Valentine’s Day, the ballet is offering the perfect alternative for watching the performance – a Girls Night Out. Friends can enjoy a pre-show drink and party at Cinco Mexican Cantina from 6 until 7:30 p.m., and then head across the street to the see the show at 8 p.m. As an added bonus, attendees will be entered to win a gift card to Spa Sydell! Girls Night Out will be held Feb. 12, 2015, and tickets for the party and performance are $35 per person. Cinco Mexican Cantina is located at 2851 Akers Mill Road in Atlanta.
