Terri Gelman, President of E&T Horizons, parent company of DecoTeak and Design by Intent, is in studio for today’s episode of Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio. Joined by co-hosts Carol Morgan and Todd Schnick, the group discusses several innovative products and product lines from DecoTeak and Design by Intent on this All About Real Estate segment of Radio.
Gelman started her career in sales but decided to take a break from the workforce to have and raise her four children. As her children got older, Gelman returned to her career and began working for a small company that designed furniture. The company grew into what E&T Horizons is known for today with the popular DecoTeak and Design by Intent products.
DekoTeak includes over 250 products in its current line. The more popular products include small units for the shower, ranging in size from 18 to 24 inches. DekoTeak ensures its products range in size from compact for small compartments, to 36 inches for larger homes. The products have several features to be more accessible to a wide range of customers, including handles and height differences.
In addition to the popular shower furniture from DekoTeak, the sustainable company also provides a wide range of teak outdoor furniture. In the wake of COVID-19 (coronavirus), more people have been staying at home and practicing social distancing protocols. This is one of the reasons the outdoor teak garden benches are so popular this season. This piece of furniture, along with other outdoor essentials, are selling incredibly fast.
Design by Intent is the newest brand from E&T Horizons. This state-of-the-art product offers wall-mounted shower seats, shower chairs and shower benches. These sitting options also offer convenient grab bars, armrests, towel racks and other accessories to help with accessibility and design. Launched with the wall-mounted seating from Design by Intent is a plastic shower stool. Designed to stand apart from other stools with a “medical feel,” these stools are not only functional but also eye-catching and trendy with a faux-wood finish.
