Atlanta Division President of Davidson Homes, Reagan Anderson, is in studio for this episode of Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio. Anderson, originating from Texas, has been in the homebuilding industry for over 20 years. In 2005, Anderson made the move to Georgia, joining the Atlanta market. During the past 15 years in Atlanta, Anderson has worked with national, local and private builders, gaining experience in several sectors of the home building industry. Davidson Homes currently builds in Huntsville, Nashville and Raleigh, and recently joined the Atlanta market. This Huntsville-based company is privately owned and began in 2009.

“It’s kind of unique, something starting, up especially in the homebuilding business, in 2009,” said Anderson. “As we all know, that wasn’t a very good time for home builders, so it was a brave move on the owner’s part. That’s how he runs the business on a day-to-day scale. Coming into Atlanta, it’s a big hub with a lot of economic growth ahead of it. We are here to be successful and serve the market in whatever capacity.”

Davidson Homes is dynamic and unique in several aspects of the business. It has an in-house architectural department. This allows the experts and builders to look at the land and figure out how to make it work. This building comany has the flexibility to create a variety of different homes in several locations. With price points from the mid $200,000s to the mid $800,000s, Davidson Homes offers something for everyone. From first-time buyers to move-up buyers, this builder has a product to fit any family’s needs.

In addition to a wide range of price points, Davidson Homes also has several floor plan options. On the smaller end, homes are built as low as 1,500 square feet, and on the higher end, up to over 6,000 square feet.

In addition to new homes for sale, Davidson Homes also offers a rental platform called Evergreen Living. It plans to introduce rental properties to the industry over the next several years. This allows for further customization and adaptation for buyers and renters in the area.

The builder that asks “why not” instead of “why,” Davidson Homes jumped at the challenge to enter the Atlanta market, despite the current COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic. With experience thriving during economic downturns by creating a business during the housing crisis of 2008, Davidson Homes is equipped with the skills, knowledge and expertise to continue to provide an excellent product to the market.

“As far as real estate goes, all signs point to being really, really healthy,” said Anderson. “There is not a lot of inventory out there, and there is opportunity, especially with the pandemic giving us a little bit of a different take on things. People want to get out and get space, so we targeted those areas for land acquisition.”

Davidson Homes decides not to box itself into one specific market. Instead of choosing to build in either a lower price point or high-end homes, this building company does it all and everything in between. Serving a wide group of people is one of the many things that makes Davidson Homes unique from other builders in the area.
