This Father’s Day, treat your dad to something more than just a card! Atlanta offers multiple ways to celebrate no matter what your age or your dad’s age is. Here are four ways to get out and do something fun:

  • For dads with little ones, Fernbank Museum of Natural History is celebrating Father’s Day with Superhero Day. From noon to 4:00 p.m., dads and kids can come dressed as favorite superheroes and enjoy a day of games, hands-on activities, costumed characters and more.
  • Imagine It! The Children’s Museum of Atlanta helps kids celebrate their fathers by letting them make their own 3D miniature dads with scraps of wood and fabric! The workshops will be held Saturday, June 15 at noon and 3:00 p.m. and Sunday, June 16 at 3:00 p.m. The event is free for kids with general admission.
  • If treating your dad to a delicious meal is more his style, then make sure to take him to Shula’s! Shula’s 347 Grill on Lenox Road is treating all dads to a free meal on Sunday, June 16. Fathers eat free between 11:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., and reservations are recommended.
  • For the dad who enjoys entertaining and spending time outdoors, Ray’s on the Creek in Alpharetta is letting guests play the chef this Father’s Day with a Big Green Egg cooking class. Participants can enjoy pulled pork sliders and several pizzas, as well as beer specials on the patio. The class will take place on Saturday, June 15 at 3:00 p.m. and will cost $15 per person. To reserve a spot, call 770-649-0064.

No matter how you choose to celebrate your dad this Father’s Day, we know he will love it!
