From model trains and a children’s train ride to delightful dressed doggies and elegant high teas, Holidays in the Gardens combines popular traditions with unique activities that is sure to become a part of your family’s holiday routine.
This year’s celebrations include an outdoor holiday model train show with three G-scale trains that include cars the size of a loaf of bread, a holiday trolley and an imaginary, planted landscape. Once you’re finished viewing the spectacular model trains, let your wonderment carry you over for a trip on the real thing with a ride on the Botanical Express.
When you’re ready to get out of the cold, visit the Holiday Chocolate High Tea to warm yourself with a delicious cup of hot tea or decadent hot chocolate. The Botanical Gardens Day Hall will be decked out with mistletoe and beautiful holiday décor so that you and your family can enjoy this lovely occasion in style.
Other family-fun activities include shopping at the Holiday Market, pictures with a vintage Saint Nick, holiday puppet shows and a Reindog Parade.
