The Atlanta area offers plenty of beautiful communities and great places to work, and Atlanta residents are not the only ones who think so. In a recent list created by WorkplaceDynamics, 150 of the nation’s top workplaces were presented and several Georgia companies as well as very well known national companies with local offices made the cut. This is excellent news if you’re interested in relocating to Atlanta or currently live in the metro area.

Among the list were:

  • No. 2 The Container Store
  • No. 8 Coyote Logistics
  • No. 14 Slalom Consulting
  • No. 16 Edward Jones
  • No. 17 Burns & McDonnell
  • No. 22 Alston & Bird
  • No. 25 CareerBuilder.com
  • No. 46 Microsoft
  • No. 82 FedEx
  • No. 84 Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta
  • No. 113 Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta
  • No. 114 RaceTrac Petroleum
  • No. 117 Ernst & Young

To calculate this ranking, WorkplaceDynamics worked with 30 publishing partners to poll over one million employees across the United States. These employees were from 872 large companies, with at least 1,000 or more workers within the company, and over 5,000 organizations. Companies were also allowed to apply directly to this the national Top Workplaces program. The employee survey basically allowed the workers to rate their companies, as they are the ones working the jobs within it.

Working someplace that cares about you as an employee is one reason why so many people have been flocking to the Atlanta area over years past. Another reason is the beautiful Georgia scenery and fabulous Atlanta new home communities offered in and around the metro area. Many Atlanta homebuilders feature live-work-play communities, which are even better when you’re happy with your workplace. If you are thinking about relocating to Georgia, be sure to check out some of the above employers to see if they are currently hiring.
