Traton Homes is today’s All About Real Estate guest on Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio. Kimberly Garwood, director of marketing, and Josh Hilscher, vice president of sales and marketing, are on hand to discuss the many exciting things happening for Traton Homes in 2015!

With a solid 43 years of homebuilding experience in metro Atlanta, Traton Homes has expanded into the Charlotte, North Carolina and St. Simon’s Island markets, while also opening a custom home division. In addition, the builder plans to open multiple new communities in 2015.

Recently opened are four new home communities in Cobb County and North Fulton. In Marietta, buyers will find new homes priced from the $400,000s at Harrison Oaks, which is located within walking distance of Harrison High School. In North Cobb, McClure Farms recently celebrated the grand opening of its decorated model home. Feature homes priced from the $380,000s, this Acworth community also includes outstanding amenities.

Traton Homes’ two new Fulton County communities include Tradition at Roswell, which is an exclusive enclave of just 14 homes priced from the $500,000s that are only minutes from GA 400, I-575 and downtown Roswell. The second North Fulton community is Greenwich Park located in Johns Creek. With prices beginning in the $800,000s, this gated community will feature just 21 homes in the top-ranked Johns Creek High School district.

Buyers can also anticipate Traton Homes’ next community, Reserve at Old Atlanta, being an instant hit. Located in the Lambert High School district in South Forsyth, the community will begin selling homes priced from the $500,000s.

Another exciting project for Traton Homes is located on Georgia’s coast at St. Simons Island. The builder is now constructing homes in phase II at Frederica that are priced from the $800,000s. This master-planned community includes a stunning Tom Fazio-designed golf course, jaw-dropping scenery and a variety of amenities.

As the market began to rebound, Traton Homes saw an increase in the number of home buyers searching for custom-built homes either on their own home site or on builder-owned land outside of a traditional community. This led to the creation of Nellie Poston Custom Homes, which fills a unique gap in the Atlanta real estate market. The company builds new homes that start around $1 million primarily in in-town locations.
