Brian Milbrett and Michael Bell are this week’s guests on Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio. Brian shares how Brettin Solution helps builders save money on overhead, while Michael talks about how Inspirations Design Studio helps its clients design the kitchens and baths of their dreams.

Brian Milbrett is the CEO of Brettin Solutions, a company that provides services for home builders such as purchase order creation, job scheduling, job costing, consulting and a purchasing service. Brian has been in the industry for more than 30 years.

Brettin Solutions was created to help home builders reduce overhead costs by providing pay-as-you-need services. The company uses software designed by Kova Solutions. This fully-integrated program tracks customers’ actions from the time that they enter the site and register with a builder, all the way through to the warranty process. Agents can then use this information to better serve their clients, and turn leads into sales.

Here’s how the software works: buyers visit the website and can explore floor plans and options such as the addition of a three-car garage. The program tracks what the buyer is looking at on the website and the agent can then review what his or her buyers are searching for and make suggestions based on these queries.

This week’s Deal of the Day is from Beazer Homes. Beazer Homes is inviting buyers to join them for their Welcome Home Sales Event from Aug. 1 to Aug. 15. During the Welcome Home Sales Event, buyers can come out and tour the builder’s model homes and receive special incentives on quick move-in and to-be built ENERGY STAR® homes. Incentives include half-off on all options for up to $15,000 in savings. That means, buyers can purchase up to $30,000 in options and only pay $15,000! Also, agents whose buyers purchase one of the move-in ready homes will receive a $2,500 bonus. All homes must be purchased by Aug. 15. For more information, please visit the Beazer Homes website.

Our next guest is Michael Bell who is the president of Inspirations Design Studio and Bell Custom Cabinetry. Michael rejoined the family business 10 years ago and helps buyers simplify the process of designing their kitchens or bathrooms.

Inspirations Design Studio is a home design studio that offers an integrated approach to both kitchen and bath designs, as well as design throughout the home. The studio offers cabinetry and appliances, and works to bring all elements into its designs. Bell Custom Cabinetry was started in the 1950s by Michael’s father and continues to be a family legacy. Inspirations Design Studio was created to help bring Bell Custom Cabinetry to the market place in a way that customers want to see.

Builders, remodelers, designers and homebuyers come to the studio to design their kitchens and baths. Clients must first set their budgets, and determine their tastes and needs so that the design studio knows what recommendations to make. Clients should then create a plan for the project including considerations for design, production and installation, and line up all of the decisions from the start. This will help avoid headaches later.
