Brand Mortgage is today’s featured guest on the All About Real Estate segment of Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio. Nikki Bell, vice president and business development manager for Brand Mortgage, is on hand to discuss the products offered by the lender and trends they’re currently seeing in the mortgage market.

At Brand Mortgage, buyers will find traditional products, such FHA, VA and conventional loans. In addition, the lender also offers niche products, such as specific loans for first-time buyers, second mortgage options, loans that require no mortgage insurance and 24-month bank statement programs that don’t require tax returns to apply, which is a great option for self-employed borrowers.
When asked about upcoming trends in financing, Bell said that they expect to see more qualified mortgage loans in the next 90 days as credit restrictions are loosened, which will be great for both the mortgage and housing industry. With rates still at historic lows and the expected loosening of credit standards, now is a great time to purchase a new home.
Bell reports that one of the biggest hindrances they see for first-time home buyers is the fear of the mortgage process and down payments. By partnering with a trusted mortgage company, such as Brand Mortgage, buyers will have a great team available to walk them through the process. Bell also suggests that potential buyers find a Realtor that specializes in the first-time home buying process, as they can typically guide them through the entire process while answering many questions. Overall, Bell advises buyers not to be afraid, because there are a great deal of resources and people willing to help them through the process so they don’t have to do it alone.
