The Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council congratulates Ansley Brooks of Brock Built Homes for winning a Gold OBIE for Salesperson of the Year. The OBIE awards are the premier awards in the new home construction industry.

Ansley Brooks serves as one of Brock Built’s most successful sales agents in our company’s history. Her contributions are readily quantifiable, given she can be directly accredited for more than 30 percent of Brock Built’s sales in the past year. Ansley sold 31 units in Dupont Commons in a year when the company as a whole sold 93 units in 12 communities. She also personally handles of all Brock Built’s on-air marketing, including Atlanta’s Best New Homes TV, Radio interviews and general marketing videos.

Having worked in Dupont Commons for seven years, Ansley has cultivated long-standing relationships with homeowners that provide a vast network of resources for potential homebuyers. She often employs the personal testimonies of these homeowners, as well as photos and education tools that inform buyers of a Brock Built home’s superior materials, performance and quality. Ansley assists homebuyers through every step of the buying process, and provides buyers with weekly updates that include construction photos. She is heavily involved in the local community, and regularly participates in caravans, local events, school functions, open houses and charities. She also donates a percentage of her commissions to the Butterfly Fund, a philanthropic organization that provides aid to children with Epidermolysis Bullosa, which makes the skin as fragile as a butterfly. As for industry participation, Ansley is a member of the Atlanta Board of Realtors, and attends their educational seminars, as well as Sales and Marketing Council events.

Her performance is self evident, as she conducted $9.8 million in sales over the past year, and was devoid of a single termination. Of the 31 units she sold, 50 percent were presales built from the ground up and more than 30 percent were custom homes. Sixteen of her sales were cottage homes on Brock Built’s exclusive Mews concept, which Ansley was responsible for introducing to the public. She was also responsible for introducing and marketing Brock Built’s third-floor walk-up attic retreats, and making buyers feel comfortable with these innovative concepts.

Aside from Ansley’s exceptional performance, it is her enchanting personality that distinguishes her. Her high energy, self motivation and joy are infectious, and she always lends a helping hand to those who need it. Selling seems to be engrained in her DNA, and Ansley’s hard work and enthusiasm extends to co-workers and homebuyers alike.

The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association’s OBIE Awards celebrates its 33rd anniversary in 2013. The awards began in 1980 and have grown throughout the years to now feature more than 100 building, remodeling, marketing and personal achievement categories. The OBIE Awards, named after the obelisk shape of the actual award given, are the premier awards in of Atlanta’s residential building industry.
