The Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council (SMC) and the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (HBA) cordially invite you to the Georgia Aquarium for the 40th Annual OBIE Awards Gala! This roaring evening is scheduled to take place on October 24, 2020 beginning at 5:30 p.m. and tickets are now on sale.

The OBIE Awards, named after the obelisk shape of the actual award presented, began in 1980 and have grown to include more than 100 home building, remodeling, marketing and personal achievement categories. Considered a premier award in the new home construction industry, OBIEs are given to recognize outstanding accomplishments. Awards to be presented include Builder of the Year, Associate of the Year, Council Chair of the Year and Community of the Year, to name a few.

This year’s celebration will take place on Saturday, October 24, at the Georgia Aquarium located at 225 Baker Street NW in Atlanta. The schedule for the evening includes a cocktail hour starting at 5:30 p.m. This is followed by a dinner and awards beginning at 7 p.m. Please keep in mind that temperature checks and masks will be required except when eating or drinking.

In addition to these safety measures, this year’s OBIE Awards Gala offers a limited capacity. To ensure you have a seat, make sure to purchase tickets as early as possible. Tickets can only be purchased before October 4, 2020 and are $135 per person. Tables of 10 are available for purchase for larger groups. During the required pre-registration ticket sales, guests also have the option to purchase wine for the table in advance. Tickets can be purchased and registration completed here.
