Join the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association’s (HBA) Professional Women in Building Council (PWB) for its April 2018 Program Meeting! On April 12, attendees will hear an interesting presentation from internationally known expert in Nonverbal Communication, Patti Wood, on first impressions, an essential tool for success in the home building and real estate industries.

Author of the book “SNAP: Making the Most of First Impressions, Body Language and Charisma,” Wood has been named the top expert in Nonverbal Communication by The Wall Street Journal and the New York Times. Wood is a frequent consultant for Fortune 500 companies and has been featured on many news media outlets, including Good Morning America, CNN, Fox News, the Today Show, Psychology Today, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal and more.

She will include expertise on several topics in her presentation to PWB, such as the multitude of nonverbal cues we share in the first minute of interaction. Guests will enjoy an interactive, funny, high-energy program where they will learn how body language and first impressions impact everyday interactions and gain insight on how to improve the signals they send and their ability to read others.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, April 12 at the Hyatt Regency Perimeter at Villa Christina. Registration and networking begins at 11:15 a.m., followed by lunch and the program at noon. The venue is located at 4000 Summit Boulevard in Atlanta.
