The Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association (HBA) is excited to welcome Corey Deal as its new executive officer, effective July 31.

From 2006 to 2009, Deal worked as the Northeast Florida Builders Association (Northeast Florida BA)’s Director of Government Affairs. Since 2013, he has served as the Executive Director of the NEFBA in Jacksonville. The NEFBA increased its membership by 23 percent and won the 2015 NAHB Membership Cup Award while Deal was its executive director.

Deal holds a degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Georgia, an MBA from Samford University and obtained his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2012.

In a letter to Greater Atlanta HBA members, Greater Atlanta HBA President Charlie Bostwick said, “The members of GAHBA’s Executive Committee and I are confident that Corey has the superb management skills needed to lead and oversee our rapidly expanding organization, including GAHBA’s talented staff and influential councils.”
