Central Atlanta Progress (CAP) formally announced its 2011-12 leadership at the organization’s annual meeting, held earlier this month at Pemberton Place®, in Downtown Atlanta. This year’s Annual Meeting highlighted the organization’s 70th year and illustrated its vision for the future of Downtown Atlanta and the central city.

Egbert Perry, Chairman and CEO of the Integral Group, will serve a two year-term as CAP Chairman. He will be joined by Craig B. Jones, Executive Vice President and CIO at Cousins Properties, Inc., as CAP Vice Chairman and Brad Benton, partner at KPMG, as CAP Treasurer. Twenty-six other prominent individuals, representing a range of companies and organizations, have been named to the CAP Executive Committee of the Board of Directors. CAP’s Board of Directors comprises 70 such individuals.

Perry is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Integral Group LLC. He founded the company in 1993 as a premier provider of sustainable real estate, facility and infrastructure solutions to clients globally. The company and Perry are regarded as innovators in the field of urban development and revitalization. A longtime civic leader, he serves on the Board of Directors for the National Center for Civil and Human Rights and the Board of Councilors for the Carter Center.

“This new slate of CAP officers, Executive Committee members and Board of Directors elected to lead the next two years, is one that can best be described as smart, experienced, and deeply committed to implementing programs that will bring continued growth and development to Downtown Atlanta,” said CAP President A.J.
