Atlanta Real Estate Forum congratulates Caroline Simmel for being named Marketing Director of the Year at the OBIE Awards. Presented by the Atlanta Sales and Marketing Council, the OBIE Awards are the premier awards given in the Atlanta new home construction industry.
Caroline Simmel, senior vice president of marketing for Edward Andrews Homes, uses her broad residential real estate marketing experience to lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies that achieve corporate objectives while ensuring Edward Andrews’ brand voice is articulated through all levels of communication. In the past year, Caroline oversaw the formation and implementation of several key marketing initiatives that have been integral to Edward Andrews’ success, including:
• A multimedia marketing campaign that involved the branding and launch of Edward Andrews’ new design center and Exact Design Experience, which pairs digital tools and guidance from design experts to simplify the custom building experience and increase customer satisfaction.
• The development of new corporate sales and community collateral materials as well as digital advertising campaigns supporting 14 Edward Andrews communities, including 17 new community launches.
• The planning and execution of a design center VIP preview event – attended by top Realtors and brokers, the media and other influencers – and a Realtor-oriented company open house celebrating the spring selling season.
Caroline’s positive attitude, natural leadership and dedication to teamwork have helped Edward Andrews grow its number of sold homes by 26 percent and total revenue by 50 percent in 2014. Over the last year, under Caroline’s guidance, Edward Andrews secured 4,300,000-plus media impressions; increased website leads from approximately 503 per month to an average of 1,098 per month; garnered an impressive array of awards, including the Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Pacesetter Award and the Georgia Fast 40 Award; and was named to the Atlanta Journal Constitution’s Top Workplaces 2015 list.
An Urban Land Institute member, Caroline had the honor of presenting to the ULI’s Community Development Council – Gold Flight last fall. She supports philanthropies including AGAPE, Small Dog Rescue/Fur Kids and City Refuge through her work with National Charity League, Inc.
