President of Beacon Management, Lisa Simmons, talked with hosts Todd Schnick and Carol Morgan on this week’s episode of All About Real Estate on the Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio Show.

Simmons talked about the exponential growth her company has had since forming in 2011. When the company first launched, they had only one client. Five years later, Beacon is approaching 150 clients while still keeping its original client, a fact Simmons is proud of.

Beacon manages all different types of properties across Atlanta from new home communities and homeowners associations (HOA), to high rise and commercial properties. Some of their services include accounting and financial, HOA management, commercial management, concierge and maintenance, just to name a few.

Recently, Beacon Management became the chosen partner with national homebuilder Taylor Morrison for HOA management. Beacon will be working on several communities with Morrison on things like getting the covenant set up, ensuring the budgets are correct and making sure the home owner assessments are in line. They also work with the sales team as a resource of information, taking a hands-on approach as they attend the weekly sales team meetings.

Also Beacon has added a unique service called mobile maintenance that allows smaller communities who don’t have a permanent, on-site maintenance department to have a maintenance person come out to the community per request. Simmons said this service has taken off in popularity not only because it is a great idea, but because they are very competitively priced.
