Today’s All About Real Estate on Atlanta Real Estate Forum Radio is Irene Hall, vice president of sales and marketing for FrontDoor Communities. Founded by former executives of John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods, FrontDoor Communities has a variety of new projects in the Atlanta area, as well as communities in Charleston and Naples.

When asked what sets FrontDoor Communities apart from other metro Atlanta home builders, Hall states that it’s the focus on design and architecture of both the homes and the communities. FrontDoor Communities takes pride in the attention it pays to detail on both the exterior and interior of the homes, ensuring that it’s in harmony with its surroundings. In addition, the builder offers a custom feel for each and every home it builds instead of being production-focused.

Other unique factors include the builder’s customer-centric process that includes the home buyer from the initial meeting throughout the entire building process, as well as the strong financial backing that is such an important factor in today’s real estate market. This ensures that each FrontDoor community is highly amenitized, well thought out and financially supported from start to finish.

One of FrontDoor Communities’ most popular communities in metro Atlanta is Traditions, a lifestyle-centered master-planned community in South Forsyth that is being constructed in conjunction with The Providence Group. Complete with a variety of pocket parks and places to walk and wander, the community will connect to the Big Creek Greenway and Fowler Park, as well as a future retail marketplace that will provide shopping and dining opportunities. In addition, the community will have fantastic amenities, such as a clubhouse overlooking a lake, a swimming pool and a variety of activities for community members to be part of.

FrontDoor Communities and The Providence Group will host a community launch event on Saturday, April 18 from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m., and Hall invites all prospective home buyers and local agents to the event. It will include tours of both builders decorated model homes, food tucks, live music, vendor partners and much more. In addition, visitors can wander through Founders Park, the community’s first pocket park located across from the model homes and complete with an outdoor fireplace.

Other metro Atlanta communities currently open include CopperLeaf, an enclave of just 24 homes in Cobb County; Providence, a townhome community in downtown Roswell; Enclave at Nash Springs in Lilburn and Goulding, a downtown Roswell community complete with both townhomes and single-family homes. FrontDoor Communities will also launch Eastwyke this year, a new community in Snellville.

In addition to the metro Atlanta communities, FrontDoor offers properties near the water in both South Carolina and Florida. Buyers looking for a coastal home can enjoy Carolina Park, a huge master-planned community in Mount Pleasant; Freeman’s Point on James Island; or Tributary, part of the Rivertowne Country Club in Mount Pleasant.

Buyers can enjoy a Florida home at Andalucia, where FrontDoor is in the final phase of building mainly ranch-style homes. In addition, the builder has planned communities with $1 million-plus homes located on the Intracoastal Waterway coming soon.
