John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods has been making headlines due to the fact that John Wieland himself is traveling around in his “Wiebago” (the term for his RV or Winnebago) in order to get the word out about his communities. Also, homes have been drastically reduced in price to be offered at the lowest prices the company has seen in 39 years. It’s definitely a unique marketing idea and has attracted attention from CNN, 11Alive News, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and more. So, we figure since this is one of the biggest positive real estate stories to hit the Southeast in a while, we should definitely be covering it. Plus, the “Wiebago” will be making a stop in Atlanta, specifically at Heron Bay Golf & Country Club, so we need you to be ready.

John Wieland, who is not the biggest fan of camping, will be stopping at his communities throughout the Southeast and sleeping in the unfurnished, unsold homes until 101 new homes are under contract. It’s safe to say that Mr. Wieland will be roughing it for as long as it takes. He’s bringing his own mattress that he will set up on the floor of the unfinished models, but other than carpet, running water and heat, these unfurnished models have nothing to them. Considering these conditions, it’s easy to understand why John Wieland is hoping that the excursion lasts less than 40 days.

We will definitely keep you posted as to when Mr. Wieland will be visiting the Atlanta master planned community in Henry County so you can meet him and ask him any questions you may have. John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods builds beautiful golf front homes in the Preserve at Heron Bay. These homes are priced from the high $300’s and offer spacious floorplans with beautiful features. Now it’s up to you to get Mr. Wieland out of the unfurnished model homes by purchasing one of these extraordinary homes and contributing to the goal of 101 contracts that will end the John Wieland road trip.
